Everything You Need to Know About the Halyard Mask

Since COVID-19 took place, one of the main focuses has been healthcare and health, supported by masks.

In this blog, we are talking about Halyard masks that are designed to provide protection during the respiratory process for the user.

Further, you will read about everything you need to know about the Halyard Mask.

What is A Halyard Mask?

The Halyard respirator face masks offer the highest level of protection, with Level 3 fluid resistance, a big duckbill breathing chamber, and certified N95/P2 respiratory protection.

A four-layer construction provides Level 3 fluid resistance, and the duckbill form ensures a universal fit.

Features:

• NIOSH-approved, 4-layer structure
• The inside lining is soft.
• Made of 100% natural rubber
• Free of latex
• Available with the safety seal

What Levels Are There in Halyard Masks?

Halyard masks give you confidence so that you and your patients are protected.

Halyard masks are available in 3 levels: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. The mask nose piece and box clearly mark the degree of protection, allowing you and your workers to easily identify the appropriate mask for any activity.

How Do You Wear a Halyard Mask?

Press firmly down with your fingers to conform the nosepiece to the bridge of your nose.

To produce a nice curve and support, slightly bend the nose wire. Pull the headbands upwards over your head edges until you believe you’ve got a nice face fit.

One must note that to provide fluid-resistant protection with a Fluidshield N95 Particulate Filter Respirator, wear the orange side facing outward and upward.

If you want to achieve a good fit for your Halyard Mask, it is suggested to use a mirror to adjust the respirator and make sure to ask someone to check if any hair or earrings are caught in the seal.
