Your Guide to Insulin Pen Needles

People with diabetes who require regular doses of insulin can self-administer it in a number of ways. One of the most convenient and reliable is the insulin pen. Such pens deliver a measured dose of insulin via a needle. Users are advised to remove the insulin pen needle after use and dispose of it safely, e.g. in a sharps bin. This means they need a good supply of insulin pen needles.

Insulin Pen Needles Available at Joya Medical Supplies

Joya Medical Supplies stocks a wide range of insulin needles, which tend to be identified by their gauge, length and colour. Needle gauge refers to the size of the opening in the needle, with a higher number corresponding to a smaller hole. Needle length is pretty self-explanatory. Lastly, the colour component is an easy method of distinguishing between different needles. You’ll find our currently available insulin pen needles here.

With which Insulin Pens are they Compatible?

Joya’s insulin pen needles are suitable for use with ClikSTAR, Gansulinpen, HumaPen, NovoPen, Prandilin and Wanbangpen brand insulin pens. They come with a needle holder, needle tube, tip sheath and needle seat sheath. Our insulin pen needles are sold in boxes of 100, to ensure you never run low.
